Survey on Art Trail

Norfolk Council Council’s EXPERIENCE Project is creating a new free Art Trail across Norfolk and will be commissioning artists to create one placemaking outdoor art installation within each district across Norfolk.

The project has put together a NEW survey to gather feedback from local residents to support the development of artist briefs for the art trail. There are two versions of the survey – one version aimed at adults and the other at young people. We would be grateful if you could please share these links with your local networks (whichever is more appropriate); we’ve prepared below some introductory text for each.

We are particularly interested to hear from underrepresented groups and communities within Norfolk – please would you help us by sharing the link far and wide? Thank you.

Adult Survey Text

Norfolk Council Council’s EXPERIENCE Project is working with artists to commission a series of new public art works – one for each district of Norfolk – that will be linked by a 250-mile walking/cycling trail for you to come and visit.

We’d love to hear from the People of Norfolk – tell us your ideas, opinions and thoughts on what you’d like this to look/be like!

Please click the link below to participate in the survey – to say thank you there is also a chance to win a £75 Jarrold voucher for those who complete the survey. We look forward to hearing from you!

Report from NCC Councillor

From Cllr Fran Whymark: Thank you to everyone who voted to get me re-elected for the Wroxham Division. I hope over the next four years I can represent everyone in the Division and as a Council we can complete our ambitious plans. Next Monday the Council will meet to discuss the Norwich Western Link, a key infrastructure promise, to complete the NDR and join with the dualling the A47 at North Tuddenham. This will improve travel times across Norfolk and around Norwich. £1m is being invested improving cycleways and paths and Norfolk Trails. We will plant £1m trees with your help. If you have any local projects let me know. We aim to improve broadband and extend 4G coverage to 99% of our residents. £5m is spent on libraries and £40m on Extra Care Living, like Herondale, Acle. There is a great deal to do but together we can make positive changes for Norfolk.
